What is the Energy Partner Program (EPP)?

EPP is an annual imagery subscription program providing simplified, cost effective (30-50 percent savings) access to high resolution satellite imagery. The imagery is delivered directly to your desktop and can be viewed along with your well locations, facilities and other exploration areas using industry leading desktop solutions such as Google Earth, Global Mapper, ESRI, and Virtual Earth.

The Energy Partner Program (EPP) specifically addresses the imagery needs of Oil, Gas, and Mining companies. The EPP provides many advantages over standard retail purchasing, including attractive pricing, web access to ordered imagery, dedicated support, priority tasking of the satellites (QuickBird, WorldView-1, IKONOS, TerraSAR-X), global 1m and 7m Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), and a webpage featuring many useful tools and resources.

Energy Partner Program

You have worldwide access to 60cm and 1m resolution satellite imagery (from DigitalGlobe and GeoEye), reducing costs and improving accuracy for well spots, facility analysis, environmental assessment, and seismic planning. There is no more redundancy of data purchases as all local and regional offices can utilize a consistent data set.

EPP allows you to choose your areas of interest and task the satellite to gather images in your specified locations for future project planning and development. You can compare multiple views of the same area taken at different dates, utilizing the data for the complete lifecycle of your oilfield. Satellite imagery allows you to view and respond to accidents and weather events soon after they happen. With multispectral imagery, you can quickly assess the impact in an area.
