Spatial Energy's Spatial On Demand® subscription program offers unlimited access to streaming Bing Maps datasets through a web mapping service (WMS) that can be used in Petra, Petrel, GeoGraphix, Global Energy Mapper, Petrosys, and Esri applications. Spatial on Demand subscribers have a known fixed cost for using Bing Maps without the need to manage transaction volumes.

Bing Maps

The Bing Maps platform is Microsoft’s next generation mapping and location service. It combines the MapPoint Web Service with exciting new innovations around bird's eye, satellite and aerial imagery, map styles and usability as well as enhanced local search.

Bing Maps can now included with your Spatial on Demand subscription and is delivered as a web service and as native Bing Map cached services, as an OGC-compliant Web Mapping Service and delivered with the Bing Maps SDK for use by individual users of GIS and other mapping applications, in addition to supporting internal web applications.
